Spiritually Speaking

I need to spend more time writing here. It’s too void of “me”. I’ve been too pre-occupied. Sometimes needlessly. Procrastinating. For what? From be too open? Perhaps. Yes. That’s it. It’s hard for me to open up too much. But that’s one reason I blog. To get brave enough to just do it.

I don’t think it’s necessary to share absolutely everything, though. I don’t even do that in person. But writing is easy for me than speaking. I often get tongue-tied because I either can’t find the right words (which often happens while writing as well) or I say the wrong thing and upset someone or embarass myself. That’s easy to do. Well, it’s that time again. It’s time to write your new moon check or abundance check. The first one of the new year. I read that this is a really good time for goal-setting astrologically-speaking. (source: astrowisdom.com) It’s best to write the abundance check within the first 24 hours of the new moon.

Take a check out of your checkbook. Write your own name on the “Pay to the order of” line. Also, when writing the check, some people write the date of the new moon and sign the check “Law of Abundance”. Others may leave the date out and sign their own name. I write the date of the new moon and sign it “Law of Abundance”. I can actually feel positive energy when I do it that way.

Before writing an amount that you want to manifest, there are different ways of doing this. First think about how much you want manifested. You must use an amount that you believe can actually be manifested. If you have doubts of the amount, then change it to something more realistic for you.

If you think of writing a million dollars, but you don’t really believe that you’ll get that much, you’ll be sending out negative energy from those doubts. If you believe that it’s possible for $200.00, $500.00 or even $1,000.00 to be manifested to you, then write one of those amounts down. Whatever amount you believe that can be manifested, then that’s how much you should write the check for.

If you don’t have a specific amount in mind, then just write “Paid in Full” or “Unlimited Abundance” where you normally write the amount numerically as well as in words.

The more you write these new moon checks, the more confidence you’ll have when you begin seeing the momeny actually being manifested to you. When this happens, then you can start visualizing a higher amount.

After you’ll written out the check, visualize that you have actually received this money and feel the joy you feel from having it now.You may wish to imagine a white light surrounding the check, or a diving violet flame coursing through it canceling out all negative thoughts about money. This will give you more confidence that this will become a reality.

Afterwards, it’s time to let the check go. Put it somewhere safe and forget about it for 30 days. Then focus on creating more abundance through your intentions. Stay positive about this happening. When it’s time to write a new moon check again, look at the check from the previous month and if the amount you wrote as been manifested, then you can either write the same amount or write a higher amount. If you didn’t write a specific amount, then do what you did in the previous month.

I’m not sure if that’s an appropriate title, but it was the first thing that popped in my head and I couldn’t think of anything else.

My first encounters with Promila (what a pretty name) was when I was searching for other blogs about synchronicity. I needed to fin someone who understood what I was writing about and wouldn’t dismiss everything that I wrote as mere coincidences. I got that enough at another blog community.

Her synchronicity with butterflies began with me. I think. If I’m remembering that correctly. Promila?

Well, anyway, now it’s my turn. Promila has been having synchronicities about the numbers 44 and 444. Within an hour of reading about her experiences, I looked a the clock on my desk and the time said exactly, 4:44. The I saw the number 44 a couple of times after that, but I don’t rmember the circumstances. That was in one day and since then I haven’t had any more experiences with it.

I don’t know what it means, either, if anything. But I never dismiss the synchronicities. I’m always paying attention, no matter how busy I get. When God whispers, I listen.

I’ll be writing blog reviews for three companies now, so I will be quite the busy bee butterfly. Well, as long as they bring in the work and I can write it, that’s what I’ll be doing. I have to. And the good thing is, I love it because I’m writing.

So, I’ll be at Mae’s Muse.

But I’ve got to find the time to write about the synchronicity with the number 44.:)

I’ll do that when I am taking a break from writing the blog reviews.

I haven’t had much to write about when it comes to synchronicity, and I’ve also been very busy writing trying to make a living, which has been a big challenge for me.

I’m trying to stay positive, but sometimes it’s really hard. Right now I’m wondering if I should choose a different type of work.

Well, another year has come and gone. It seems as though the time speeds up every year. Even my children, one of whom is 14 says that last year went fast.

She knows that it’s not really the way it is, but it’s her perception of time. Some people claim that time is just an illusion. That time is man-made. I need to reflect on that more before I voice my own thoughts on the matter.

I wrote about my reflections of the past year and what my thoughts are on the new year, so I won’t repeat myself.

I am a DailyOM reader and sometimes I like to share the messages. Since it’s the beginning of a brand new year, I thought it would be nice to share their inspirational message for today. I also recommend reading the book excerpt they have about creative visualization.

I’ll be writing here more often now. I don’t normally make resolutions and I’d rather not put a label as such on what I want to do this year. I’d rather call them goals. So, one of my goals is to write here on a daily basis. I know I can do it if I just take the time to do so.

I have noticed that I have been getting quite a few visitors on Mae’s Muse looking for information about abundance checks. I’ll be writing about that more on this blog. Each month I’ll post a reminder before it’s time to write them which will mean a few days before the New Moon I will also post a date each month of when that will be.
